A Bible-based Pentecostal church where you can grow in faith and community
Since our founding on May 7, 2013, God has been faithful through every season.
The History of the Crossfire Worship Center Church of God is preserved with the hope of inspiring our present and future congregation to a life of discipleship and a solid foundation in the Lord. It is our prayer that our current members and future members will preserve the ideals and dreams of the 16 founding members who labored before them enduring hardship while working in this area of the Lord's vineyard.
Surely God has been our shield and strength amid the fiery darts the enemy sent our way. God has guided us with His counsel, blessed us with all spiritual blessings, and inspired us by His Holy Spirit.
Crossfire Worship Center was established on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Beltsville, MD, under the leadership of Founding Pastor, Bishop Stulan Taylor. At that time there was a small but faithful band of 16 worshippers who attended worship services at the Sheraton Washington North Hotel. In this small Christian gathering, the Word of God provided the guide to light their path and the love to inspire fellowship.
The membership steadily increased, and a church van was purchased, and the congregation moved to the Comfort Inn Hotel. On May 4, 2016, Crossfire became an organized congregation with the Church of God International Headquarters, Cleveland, Tennessee. Bishop Taylor received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from CICA International University & Seminary on November 25, 2017.

By the Grace of God, on August 5, 2022, Crossfire purchased its first church home! The church property includes a sanctuary, fellowship hall, administrative building, parking lot and land. We are thankful to God for his miracle working power!
We continue to welcome new souls to the Kingdom of God and have baptized many over the years to the Glory of God. We have married several couples, held many baby dedications, and buried some of our precious members.
We understand the importance of Community Outreach and continue to strive to win lost souls for the kingdom through this effort. Our Pastor has given us an annual goal of winning 50 souls for the Kingdom of God and we earnestly endeavor to reach this goal.
Crossfire Worship Center strives to nurture its members to build their own personal relationship with the Lord. We are called to follow the Great Commission, given by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20:
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
The Crossfire Worship Center is moving forward knowing, "The Cross is Real, and the Fire is Burning."
WE LOVE GOD. WE LOVE PEOPLE. WE LOVE OUR CHURCH.
